Here's what you will need!!
- Crayons
- Silicon Baking Molds (I found mine at AC Moore)
- Cookie Sheets
Carefully remove the paper of each crayon (get kids to help or Adults may use a knife). This is the most tedious part! Then snap each crayon into little pieces (about 1/2 and inch) and mix together the colors you desire. Put silicon molds on top of metal cookie sheets! This will make lifting them out of the oven A LOT easier. Place crayon pieces in molds. Bake in oven for 15 minutes on 230 degrees or until melted. Pull them out and let them cool or place in refrigerator for fast cooling (cools in about 20 minutes). Once hardened you or your kids may pop them out and they are ready for coloring!
I sat in front of the oven with the light on watching them melt. (It's the kid in me!) I am looking forward to making these with my 2 handsome Nephews and my beautiful Niece! My youngest nephew saw the picture of these and said "those are really good crayon"!
